In early March, with a one month old baby, we packed up the car and headed to St. George to stay at mom & dad's condo. Now, when I say packed up, I really mean it. You practically have to pack the ENTIRE house when you have a kid. It was at this moment that Andy and I decided that we would soon need to get a bigger car! Hopefully we'll get one soon!!!!
While in St. George we went to Zions, the Utah Wildlife Museum, and did a little shopping. Since it was still a little cold, Ethan had to stay in the stroller at Zions. I told Andy that we had to get a few pictures, or Ethan wouldn't believe that we'd taken him there.
About Us

Growing Boy
Ethan is growing like a weed and is his little personality is just growing with him. He's such a happy guy in the mornings. He coo's and goo's when he gets up and he loves to play with his light up toys, or anything that plays music.
The other day he was playing with his toys laying on his back, I went outside for a second to talk to Andy and I came back in and he was on his tummy. His first roll over and I missed it. He hasn't done it again either, but I'm sure we'll see a lot of it soon!

The first Mother's Day
Andy really made my first mom's day special. I got a present from him, and a present from Ethan. Andy drew Ethan's handprint on the card for his little signature. It was adorable and made me cry. I'm grateful for such a thoughtful husband.

Getting the Yard Done
Well, we've been in our house for a year and a half now. It's been a challenge to get our yard in. Last year, we put in the sprinkling system and the lawn. This year, we're planting the flower beds! This weekend our curbing was installed, and we started planting our beds. We also installed a little waterfall fountain. We've got a lot left to do, but it's really coming along!

New Baby
On Jan. 28th, we arrived at the hospital at 7:00 am. They induced me, and the long wait began. After 12 long hours, and a baby in distress, they finally decided to do a C-section. Little Ethan was born at 8:09 pm. He weighed in at 7 lbs. 2 ounces, and was 21 inches in length. He had a full head of black hair, and beautiful blue eyes!
Mom and Dad were both extremely proud of their new little guy. We were excited to get him home . . . until the first night, when we decided we had NO idea how to be parents. We somehow made it through, and after about 2 weeks, we finally got the hang of it.
We call him our little monkey, because when he's hungry he makes noises that sound like a monkey!
He is adorable, and we love him dearly. It seems like we've always had him as part of our family!
