Crawling Frenzy!
I have to keep a close eye on Ethan these days. Everytime I turn around, he's somewhere he shouldn't be. I'm not sure why he chooses to only crawl to unsafe places, when he has a million toys around the house, but he does it anyway. So, he loves to crawl over to the plant, and try to pick off the leaves and eat them before I can get to him. He also loves to crawl over to the dog door and stick his hands out. He crawls to every plug in our house, so I had to go get those little plastic things for them, and he also is fascinated by all of our night lights! He rips them right out of the wall. And last, but surely not least, he loves to crawl over and sit on Norma's bed which is covered in dog hair!!!! YUCK!!!!!
So, I've come to the conclusion that babies doesn't really like toys, and the toy companies just have fooled us into thinking they like toys! Babies just know what is real and what is a toy. For instance, Ethan has his own toy remote control. He doesn't play with this one, he wants the REAL remote control. Ethan won't play with the old cell phone, he wants the REAl cell phone. It's so cute, because he even holds it up to his ears! I need to get some pictures of this!!!! Anyway, who needs toys, when you have such an inquisitive kid!!!

Mickey Mouse Ears!
Well, we couldn't leave Disneyland this time without purchasing some Mickey Mouse ears for Ethan! These pumpkin Mickey's were too cute to pass up, and I must say he looks adorable in them! We also bought some ears for our friends kids, Ayden and Morgan, so I made Andy put on a pair so I could get a picture of them together! Cute huh?

Ethan's Emergency Room Visit
Well, on Sunday night, right after bathtime, Ethan gave us quite a scare. I thought he had swallowed something and was choking on it. He was gagging, and throwing up, and screaming his head off. I didn't know what to do. Andy was at work, and I was at my mom and dad's house, so I had my dad give him a blessing, and then off we went. By the time we got to the ER, almost all his symptoms were gone thank goodness, but I soon discovered that he had hives all over too. So, he'd had an allergic reaction. I gave him a little sip of my crystal light, and I'm sure this is what did it! I felt so bad! Luckily all is well, and he's just fine! Just a little tired, since we went to bed at midnight, and had to get up at 6:30 to go to the babysitter! He's a little trooper!

Halloween Time at Disneyland!
Of the new rides, my favorite was Toy Story! It was awesome! It's 4D, and you ride through and play all these fun little games. It's always a big competition, but Andy always wins, even though I try my hardest! I wish he's let me win just once! :) This Mr. Potato head is awesome! He talks to the crowd, and moves all around, and it's super cute!
This is us headed into California Adventures! You can see some of the cute halloween decorations!

Punkin' Patch!
Well, for the first time ever, Ethan will be celebrating Halloween! It is by FAR his dad's favorite holiday, so we've bought him a ton of cute halloween things to wear, and he's been pretty festive this month! We finally went to the pumpkin patch the other day, even though Ethan is a little too young to enjoy it. They have it set up super cute, with a little corn maze, tractors for the kids to sit on, and plenty of cute places set up to take pictures! So, here we are!

Flag Football
Well, here is an addition to a prior blog about the faculty vs. student flag football game . . . this is the picture of the faculty team. In case you can't tell, I'm the third from the left! We do have one little addition, a boy who snuck behind us. From Left to Right: Ms. Holliday, Ms. Morton, Me, Ms. Crooks, (some random boy in the back) Ms. Rasmussen, Mrs. Titus, Ms. Snopek, Mrs. Clegg! we look pretty tough huh? I have to admit that I had a great time this year, and I guess I should be bragging, because we won 35 to 0!

Waving!! :)
Ethan learned how to wave bye this weekend! It was soooo cute! We were leaving Grandma's on Friday, and she said bye, while waving at him, and so he waved back. It's an entire arm wave, and I can't get him to do it on camera, but I'll keep trying! He is adorable!!!

Just a matter of time!
I knew it was just a matter of time before this started happening on a regular basis. I like to imagine what he's thinking. Norma, why did you go out there, come back and play with me. Anyway, the dog door fascinates him, and so does Norma!

A little flag football anyone?
Well, every year I get roped into playing in the faculty vs. student flag football game! This year, the PE department made us t-shirts, and bought us tube socks, so we even looked the part! And this year we actually won! Go figure! Anyway, it took me back to my snow college days when my apartment Legacy 8 . . . had their own little flag football team. We had so much fun playing . . . KJ and Minnie were really into it, and we all had a great time! Vanilla Cokes at the Malt Shop always followed game days! Oh the good old days! Some days I miss them!
