About Us

Andy and I met on a blind date in Dec. 2005. One of my 7th grade students was his neice, and she set us up. Go figure. We saw each other every day after that! We were engaged by June and married in September of 2006. In January, 2008, we welcomed little Ethan into our home, and in August, 2010, little Addison arrived.

Andy is a diesel mechanic at Kennecott. I taught middle school science for ten years, and am now an evidence-based learning specialist for a school district.

Sick Again!

Ethan had the stomach flu not too long ago, and then he was better for a few days, and he's been sick again for the last week. They said just give him pedialyte and if it's not cleared up, come in to see the doc. So, we went to the doc today to see what was wrong. He told us that sometimes after a bad stomach flu, babies can develop lactose intolerance. Crazy huh? So, he gave me some lactose free formula and said try this out. Hopefully he's right, and all will be well! Poor little guy!

Oh my gosh, Leslie! I found your blog! You and your family are beautiful!!! I had written down your blog address forever ago and then lost it. Well ... today I cleaned out my purse (that I NEVER use anymore because I've traded it in for a "stylish" diaper bag) and I found the little post-it note with your blog address on there. Anyway, cute family! It was fun to get caught up. I hope your little guy gets better and is able to be lactose intolerant-free soon!!! LOVE YOU!

Poor little guy! He's so adorable. How are you guys doing? Is the "next one" coming soon? :) As we look around in church, I continue to lower the number of desired children!! When you get a chance, let me know how school is going. What are you guys doing for Ethan's birthday?
