It was Andy's Mom & Dad's birthdays this weekend, and Andy wanted to give them a special present from Ethan. He wanted to do hand prints in plaster, but I decided it would look much cuter to have hand prints on a painted plaque. So, the two of us came up with a great plan! I got a picture of the finished product, but, the most fun pictures I missed out on. I decided to do the hand prints the other night when Andy wasn't home, so it was pretty difficult to wrangle a baby with black paint all over his hands, and the plaques, let alone a camera. Ethan had paint EVERYWHERE! It was pretty humerous! Anyway, here is a picture of one of the plaques. I decided to make three. One for us, one for Andy's parents, and one for my parents! I think they turned out great!
About Us
Andy and I met on a blind date in Dec. 2005. One of my 7th grade students was his neice, and she set us up. Go figure. We saw each other every day after that! We were engaged by June and married in September of 2006. In January, 2008, we welcomed little Ethan into our home, and in August, 2010, little Addison arrived.
Andy is a diesel mechanic at Kennecott. I taught middle school science for ten years, and am now an evidence-based learning specialist for a school district.
