I really love making things. It always gives me great satisfaction to look at what I created. This may sound a little cocky, but I thoroughly agree with a talk given at Conference that said women should create, and creating gives a person a great sense of accomplishment! My creative juices get flowing on occasion, and I get the urge to be crafty. My niece is pregnant, and due in June. Since making the diaper cake for Missy's shower, I've had the bug to make another one for my niece. So, here it is! I also turned a formula can into a gift basket of clothes for her little guy!
This can is one of two that I made for Valentine's day for Grandma's and Grandpa's. I filled them with Peanuts, for a nice healthy valentine's snack!
About Us
Andy and I met on a blind date in Dec. 2005. One of my 7th grade students was his neice, and she set us up. Go figure. We saw each other every day after that! We were engaged by June and married in September of 2006. In January, 2008, we welcomed little Ethan into our home, and in August, 2010, little Addison arrived.
Andy is a diesel mechanic at Kennecott. I taught middle school science for ten years, and am now an evidence-based learning specialist for a school district.

Leslie, you are so creative and talented in the craft area! No wonder you always have such great lesson ideas!
Wow. Do you think creativity is in your genes or do you just have to work at it? Because that whole scene just skipped me right over. But I do want to be creative. I love what you did with the cans. SO cute.
You really are so creative and everything you make turns out adorable. You have a great eye for stuff. A tomboy that can craft, I love it!
